A wedding in JB
22 April, last Sunday, the whole clan, my family, from my dad's side chartered a bus, to drive us to JB for a wedding. My cousin's daughter's wedding. We were so excited to meet each other on the bus, all those people whom I have not seen for such a long time were there too. The journey there lasted about 45 minutes. Oh boy, the weather was blazingly hot, I was sweating, the rest of the people in my group also felt the same way, we were desperately looking for shady areas or at least a fan to cool ourselves. My gals were complaining all the way, that they are feeling hot. I just couldn't enjoy the buffet spread, as I was too bothered by the heat. My boys, already running around, looking for things to play and experience. They never been to kampung houses before. So they were quite curious. I was ecstatics, I saw my other relatives from KL, and Malacca. I even saw my crush!! hehe. He was different..after so many years, he changed from someone toned and muscled to a big barrel with a crooked teeth. But hey, dear me, he has 7 kids now and his wife as ever so timid. At first, we were thinking of spending 2 full hours there to mingle with the long lost cousins and relatives. But we cut it short as the kids were already complaining of the heat. It was so unbearable. So we climbed back up the bus and decided to go for a shopping trip instead to use up the hours. We went to Jaya Jusco the biggest mall in JB. It was fun to be there, hey I love to shop!! Its great to be in an air conditioned for a change. I bought buns from Breadtalk, Singapore's Breadtalk still not Halal, so I took the chance to buy from JB, and Dunkin Donuts. I was praying inside that I will not be stopped for bringing food into Singapore. Unfortunately, my cousin has to throw away her bottles of chewing gums....but allowed to bring in her buns and donuts. As for me, it was a breeze... I was not stopped by the police at the checkpoint. Thank God! All in all the trip was good, and now Im thinking of going to JB again in May, I have an errand to do. I have to pick my fiance's suits and my dresses from the tailor.
